Jenna Barr is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist that is guided by the natural world, psychedelic imagery and a lifelong sense of curiosity. Her most recent works are layered compositions that move between abstraction and representation that are made with recycled fabrics, gouache and acrylics.

Central to her practice is a belief in play and exploration. Through experimentation, forms emerge in imagined environments that feel both familiar and otherworldly. Her use of intuitive pattern-making serves as a pathway into a state of creative flow, allowing her to become fully immersed in the act of making and letting each work evolve organically over time.
